(Oct. 2018 - Feb. 2020) Liaison & Interface Manager, Seaway Offshore Cables

Primary task Seaway Offshore Cables
- Establish office in Taipei

My time in Seaway Offshore Cables
I have established an office in Taipei, and managed that on a daily basis, assisted the project team when they have been visiting Taiwan and done brief investigation on the supply chain relevant for cable installation. Furthermore, I have actively tried to seek influence on the regulation being developed and which is relevant for EPCI & T&I contractors in Taiwan, this includes assisting the project with preparing the permit application.

(Feb. 2017 - Sept. 2018) Warranty Surveyor, Survey Association

My time in Survey Association
I used my in experience from working in development projects and as master mariner, to streamline the way we approach our customer, regarding the way we work as Marine Warranty Surveyor. from Pre-qualification to ITT, kick-off meetings with clients and their installations contractors, further I'm working on making our review process of documentation package more transparent, and the way we report our recommendation and observations.

(Sep. 2010 – Nov. 2016) Offshore Installation Manager, DONG Energy.

Primary task Dong Energy:
- Coaching of subcontractors and management of client representatives.
- Negotiate, recommend and complete chartering contracts for installation vessels
- Manage contracts, including coordination of installation activities on the site
- Analyses and optimise installation procedures prior to and during installation
- Coordinate and attend inspections of vessels provided for the projects
- Ensure proactive optimisation of offshore installation works regarding time, costs and QHSE.

My time in Dong Energy
In my role as installation manager and contract holder I have been the frontrunner on several initiatives within our organisation, which has improved both the installation and the operation and maintenance, among this I have clarified, improved and standardised the ''scope of work'' and the ''evaluation criteria'' for the Invitation to Tenders, we are using. This includes analyses and ensures that cross-reference between commercial, Technical and QHSE related documents is aligned, further, I managed to put a focus on the importance in early involvement from cable installation management when developing the project.

(2002 – 2010) Deck- Officer in the Danish Merchant Marine

Content of responsibilities Merchant Marine:
- Daily management - deck officers and crew.
- In charge of general inspection and maintenance on deck.
- Planning and supervising of loading and discharging operation.
- Onboard planning and training - apprentice.
- Correspondence with company operators, port agents, and stevedores.
- Onboard document controlling, coordinating and purchase of ships stock.
- Check and maintenance of safety equipment according to Administration, SOLAS
& IMO.
- In charge of navigation watchkeeping.

My time in the merchant marine
Beside mine primary responsibilities as outlined in this CV, I took the lead in implement and maintain the ISM/SMS, ISPS and finally QHSE management system, on the various vessels I was on, as the different systems came into force. I produced workplace risk assessment/procedure and work permits and set up the document controlling and quality control systems; Further it was my responsibility to support the classifications society, Port state control and charters when they made audit of the vessels and crew, all this given me a familiarity into work with rules, regulations and guidelines.
